Spanish is my primary language and growing up in Yucatan, my grandma used to try and teach us Maya (Not considered a language but a dialect i think),anyways, i can understand some Maya if i hear it but i can only speak a few "bad words" heh.

I belong to central part of India and my mother tongue is Hindi, though with my half and full english I'm able to manage my job and a this forum. Apart from that I'm on the half way of French and would like to learn some other language as well..

Interesting to hear... All of you guys are from many different languages and the thing which relates all of us is english...
Thanks for hollywood cinema, because being from a outskirt village in india, i have no other way of learning english other that by watching movies and reading books...
Along with tamil i also know a decent level of english and malayalam... I can understand hindi, but not able to speak or write in it...

I can speak both English and Spanish, and also write them, but I hope to be able to learn a few more languages soon.

i use to speak shanghai chinese language but i forgot how to speak it lol even how to pronounce it.but i still can understand it. my main language is only mandarine

Same case for me . I am also from rural Village in India.
I am learning english from reading my study books & after that watching hollywood movies.
Although my mother tongue is Bengali but i can know Hindi, but not able write in it & for English I can read , write but not speak smoothly.
Farther that for all other language I use Google Translate
