English is my native language, but I am fairly fluent in Spanish. When I was in southern Spain, the people would ask what part of the north (Spain) I was from. I would explain that I was from "the colonies", which would produce puzzled looks. They would ask "What colonies?", and I would reply "Las Americas". It usually got a good laugh.

My mother tongue or native launguage is Hindi.

frankly speaking its not pure hindi or Urdu .It is known as Khari boli

Another Indian here, can read, write and talk, Telugu (mother tongue , South Indian language) Hindi and English.
Can understand Marathi ( since I studied in Maharastra) , German , bits and pieces of Tamil.
