I could answer Q1,2, 4 but not 3.
Q1- read it in a puzzle book last time (if I am not wrong)
Q2- have seen it somewhere else (can't remember)
Q4- It's pretty obvious for me
Q3??? The question wasn't structured properly. I honestly think that the IT company needs to learn better English

Q3 is trig. While all mathematical questions can be resolved with logic, a person without mathematical expertise could not solve this. I am an ex-navigator, and consequently had to deal with spherical trig multiple times between dawn/dusk. To pass my Coast Guard tests, I had to do it all manually...I could use a pocket calculator, (but NOT one that had a memory). We had short-cuts that we used 'in-the-field', but could not use in the exam room. Our only short-cut we were allowed to use in the exam-room was 'tables'. Any requirement to answer Q3 is totally unrealistic for any employment purposes, including jobs involving trig. Tables are used for everything. Yes, we must memorize equations, but not the tables.
Mankind hates what it fears, and fears what it cannot understand.
Therefore, hatred is a by-product of ignorance!

My cousin got that Q3 in his interview...
And no time was given to do any calculations( just you have to answer to the interviewer, no paper or pens)...
But he managed to answer that question and he got placed...
The odd part is i hadnt inherited his brain...

Trig is interesting in the fact that is actually simple. A basic knowledge, and simple tables, and viola, answer. You do not need previous knowledge of geometry (which is its closet cousin), nor algebra. Basic functions and tables are all you need, and most tables provide examples of the basic functions.
