Windows or Linux or Mac?

Say whats your favourite os and suggest why you like it the most...

P.S:- Though i was comfortable with windows, my favourite is linux because i am a fan of open source...

I've been using Linux only for a solid 2 years, coming back to Windows with the Windows Vista/7. I love 7, hate Vista, and am mostly using Windows right now, but I do use Linux a lot too.

I'll use either of them really, since Windows is now back in my good books.

My favourite OS is none...I like all of them equally although I use Windows mainly.

Windows - Have been using it as my main OS and is comfortable with it
Linux - It's free and open-source. I am still new to it but this gives me the chance to learn
Mac - Have not used it yet but it sure does look good. Yummy.

For Linux I am a Newbie & tried to learn it
For MAC I do't use it so i don't love it.

I guess i won't be touching Mac as it was super expensive than most of PC.
I'm a fan of Windows and Linux but Linux doesn't support much of my favourite video game, so Windows!

Everybody I know that uses Mac loves it...but they are mostly people that do not want to learn how to use a computer. it is designed to be as idiot proof as possible. The down side is that all hardware/software must be bought from the Apple store...no bargains available.

I grew up on CLP (Command Line Processor) machines, so Unix/Linux/DOS were the 'norm' to me. Windows came along, and it took me quite awhile to get used to it. But now that I have, I have 3 choices: Pay big buck$ for Mac (not going to happen), go back to Unix/Linux (when I build my desktop box, it will be dual boot), or just accept Windows with the largest library of software available.

The ultimate choice depends upon what you need, and what you are willing to learn/pay to get it.

I prefer Mac OS X. It's just so much more streamlined than Windows, and Linux is too difficult for me to adjust to.

Linux is my favourite, it is free, open source, and easy to use and learn with, if you want to try some stupid games then you could just dual boot of course.
Windows is good for games and stuff but it is just useless for servers or security and costs money which i don't have
Mac, I overall hate it, you need their hardware to run it and it runs like a snail. it costs way too much and so does the apple hardware.
