Kinda Weird

Have you guys noticed the description for one of the forum section:

Spyware/Viruses (5 Viewing)

Discuss spyware, viruses, worms, hacks and other security issues here.

While in the forum rule clause #2:

2. No discussing about hacking or cracking

with a before the Rules title..

What do you guys think? I have just bored myself too bad that I even read the descriptions of each of the forum sections..

In that description like viruses which means discussion about securing from virus attacks, the word hack means here about how to safeguard from being hacked and how to get rid once you are being hacked...

Good point, Someone...we all here know what it means when we said

Discuss spyware, viruses, worms, hacks and other security issues here.

It should be pretty obvious if you read the sentence as a whole, not just word by word...in this case 'hack' refers to a form of 'security issue'...how to prevent getting 'hacked'.................and how to recover if you are already 'trapped'...

In fact, you don't even need to read the descriptions....the title itself can be misinterpretted...

Spyware/Viruses

Does that mean we are discussing on how to spread spyware and viruses on the net? The answer is obvious...NO! We discuss how to prevent and remove these nasties instead...

P.S. Bored minds can sometimes lead to interesting finds...lol.

I know what it actually means. But some people may understand it wrongly. I just think the description words somewhat do not go along with the forum rule or vice versa. Thats all~

It's like "Discuss hacks here, in Spyware/Viruses section. But wait! No discussion about hacking please"

Maybe you can modify the clause #2. Instead of:

2. No discussing about hacking or cracking

maybe you can change it to:

2. No discussion about how to hack or crack

This way, Raymond.cc/forum does not entertain any request of tutorials on hacking&cracking. However, users can post the security issues in the Spyware/Viruses section about getting rid of hacks (if someone kena hacked)

or something along those lines would be my idea. Just add another word that clarifies that there is not to be hacks on the board, but we'll talk about what's happened to another company or something.
