Commodore technically has already rebuilt... and with the same type of style as their old PCs.

    Indeed it uses new techonlogies

2.66 GHz Intel Core I7 processor, NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M with 512 MB, 2 TB hard drive, 4GB DDR3 SDRAM, BLU RAY drive.

and yes, my first "computer" has been a Commodore 64, 27 years ago.
I was used to spend many hours playing videogames and getting angry when I saw "OUT OF MEMORY" not so different from Windows BSOD

Impressive 2.66 GHz Intel Core I7 processor, NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M with 512 MB, 2 TB hard drive, 4GB DDR3 SDRAM, BLU RAY drive, but i couldn't see myself going out and buying this as it looks dated and not much room for further improvements, the touch screen with windows XP looked interesting but i would get bored with it just as quick...
I like the fond memories as Leo pointed out and would be interested in their sales figures for the end of 2010

My first computer was a C64 as well. Monopoly never worked for me, but I remember kicking arse at Lemonaide Stand... now if only I could find the name of that darned game I loved to death on it!

I think I might end up buying Commodore some year hopefully... but only for the memories... for it's not at all like it was
