Post LimeWire Settles Copyright Lawsuit with Music Publishers

Some in the music industry may have discovered that it's pointless to beat a dead horse, or in this case, a defunct file sharing service called LimeWire. Mark Gorton, founder of the once immensely popular peer-to-peer file sharing service, settled a copyright infringement suit brought on by more than 30 publishers, including those associated with EMI, Sony, and Vivendi. According to a report in Reuters, the case was dismissed with prejudice, which means Gorton doesn't have to worry about this ever going to court again.
"A settlement was reached," a spokeswoman for the National Music Publishers Association said. "The parties worked hard to achieve a settlement that is a good result for all involved."

You can easily do an "Alboguy" search to find content that infringes copyright. Screw Limewire and ask me!

Greed is one thing that never ceases to amaze me, you will never see a hungry lawyer... how about the court orders the money to go to third world countries... it will never happen but very lucrative for law firms when it's pulled off...
