Russian software tycoon Kaspersky's son 'missing'
The son of Russian software entrepreneur Yevgeny Kaspersky has gone missing in Moscow and may have been kidnapped, Russian media report.
Secret service and regular police have been searching for Ivan Kaspersky, 20, for at least two days, a police source told Interfax news agency.
His father's firm, Kaspersky Lab, told a newspaper it could not confirm news he had been abducted.Yevgeny Kaspersky made his fortune developing anti-virus software.

If i where in Yevgeny shoe's i would be going out of my mind, money would be the least of my problems, and the rest of your life would be spent wondering if it is going to happen again, they are prisoners of their own wealth. I hope his son is returned unharmed but little information is given and a lot of guess work it seems.

If that's the case, they've been hit literally by backdoored trojans! Don't mess with the Russkies, they're known for their exploit packs, bots and tdss crypters, on the other hand they have Kaspersky and Dr.Web with them
... Hopefully, Eugene's son is in harms away.
[Update] - Today, several Russian news outlets are reporting that the kidnappers requested ransom had been paid and that his son, Ivan Kaspersky, has been returned safely.

Wow, ransom paid and son returned safely.
With all the money Yevgeny Kaspersky has, I don't think he wants to take the risk getting the police and secret service to help him out since he can just pay and get his son back.
