How to detect Hidden camera in trial room ???

Today I got a message from one of my friend telling the process how to detect a hidden camera in a trial room, I thought it is C**P so made a google search and really it is showing the same process -

In front of the trial room, take yr mobile and make sure that your mobile can make calls.....

Then enter into the trial room, and make a call. If u can't male a call, there is a HIDDEN CAMERA....!!!!!

This is due to interference of fiber optic during signal transfer...

Is that Bull S**T ??? . You can make a google search for the results . Is it true or as usual C**P . Share your views.

If it's a courtroom then your not allowed a cell phone well at least not here that is, these days there are cameras everywhere shops, streets, offices, and you could spend your whole day detecting them, they are on trains buses, outside the banks ATM machines etc..........

Anything that creates an EMF is prone to interference and in alot of cases require suppresion of some sort.

It is the same way here Jay. I think just about every retail store has a hidden camera nowadays. They do catch quite a few of the bad guys that way. My feelings on the subject are this. If someone spends their time looking at my ugly mug, eventually they will go blind!

Fibre optics are nothing like traditional wiring, maybe the signal is lost in the room by some sort of electronic device, interference other than the fibre optic.

i am little confused...
why would they will place camera in hidden when they check the cloth's price (a person is already near the change room for seeing the tag on the cloth)???

and regarding the whole signal problem....
its not so much interfering to the network signal... in my office .. there is a CCTV installed at the entrance and main hall ( Since its petroleum based plant ) .. i use to call or received call there (below the camera space ) no problem dear.. Mobile works yar...


But, yes.. i have heard about the dual mirror ... i mean by which you can see not side and thus " some indecent people " use it for " Fun " @ the trial rum.. causing trouble to Ladies...

I have mirrors, but they are all broken! And you have the stick part right, but its the ladies who are using it!
