The same wishes to you, Kayan, but tell me: you live in Bali, but Bali is a Hindu culture, isn't it?

No offence, Kayan, but how tolerant are muslims in Indonesia towards other religions (such as Hindus) these days? I read in the paper of muslim fundamentalists making attacks on non-muslims or what they consider to be inproper muslim sects, and that the attackers not stopped by the authorities.

I've heard the same sort of thing in other parts of the world. But they are the minority. I know all of my Muslim friends wouldn't hurt a fly... it's the Catholic ones I need to worry about, if you can believe it. They're the ones hating on every different religion. Yes, some are accepting... but some are very hardset in their rules too.

Every religion teaches inner peace, for the most part. Can't think of any off the top of my head that doesn't, minus Satanic. But... self explanatory why with that one.

Comments aside, we shouldn't be debating this in this thread. This is not the place, especially because they deserve as much respect as anyone else.

No, I'm not offence Kees...not to worry
Globally in Bali, we keep a good relationship each other. And for your info, we just celebrate a big day called "Galungan and Kuningan" . One of the process is making a "penjor" and some of them help us to build it
and that the attackers not stopped by the authorities-->no, this is not true.. They stopped as maximum as they can

    I agree with this Hell
