Wireless Headphones - Any advice?
I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with Sennheiser RS 180's and what their impressions are with them. Do they have a lot of sound leakage in and out? and can the hdr 170 headphones be used with the tx 180 transmitter. Any advice would be appreciated.

The guys at techradar doesn't think it is worth the money. You really want to spend that amount of money on headphones?

I can get them for $200ish which I'm o.k. with, and being wireless is a big deal as wired headphones constantly get caught up under my feet and in my cinema seats. I wrecked my old HP's by constant yanking on the overly long cord. It's more about getting the most suitable and quality wireless for me now.

Honest opinion: Don't get them.
Opinion you want to hear: get them but be prepared for them to stink worse then corded headphones at the same price.

Yeah you're right hellnoire. And as you have probably already guessed, I bought them. I'll let you know what they're like once I get them and try them out.

I'm personally using Sony PIIQ's headphones, and love them, but now with all the hate for Sony I've got, next ones I'll be buying will be Shure or someone better. Great quality, just wish everything good wasn't over $100.

I hear ya mate. Unfortunately quality usually comes with a hefty price tag. I would, However, rather pay extra & get what I really want/need than trying to skimp & save to get something inferior that I regret buying. I've done that too many times and usually end up just spending more again getting what I should've bought in the first place. Nowadays I just try finding the most suitable item for the cheapest price available. In the long run it works out cheaper that way.

True. It's why I'm dropping my plans from running Linux on my desktop, it's too expensive (hardware-wise) to upgrade to allow for it to be on there too. But once I'm situated in a way I can configure things, I should be good. I'm just glad all my options are working thus far.

Well I got them. I have to say they are a really nice set of headphones. Very comfortable and they sound absolutely fantastic. The batteries last for hours & hours, I actually haven't been able to run them flat even after over 6hrs of hammering. I can walk all over my home and no drop-outs. Very cool headphones, I love them.

Good to hear.
Just want to let you know, I went a looked them up once I saw the reply to the thread, and I'm seeing they're as good as my Sony PIIQs. Not bad for the price. Still going to get Shure corded ones sometime though, I hope.
