Alpha Dogs :
The U.S. military is developing a 21st century pack mule made of metal, wires and sensors to accompany soldiers in the field. Called "AlphaDog," the machine bears an uncanny resemblance to a real pack mule and is the latest product of U.S. robotics company Boston Dynamics

Thanks princeaniket. It looks like more of my tax dollars are hard at work here.

Not to worry Bear Ireland is broke also, the only thing going for Ireland is it is unlikely not to repay it's debt even if it is not going to be paid untill my great great, grandchildren reach the age of 70

Yes, the domino effect of less consumer spending in both Europe and the US has had a big effect on China and other exporting nations as well. Don't know what the future holds, but I am prepared to ride the storm as best I can.

In our case it is greedy bankers Luffy, they gave out stupid risky loans to one-another and some high ranking officials took out large loans from their own banks... There is no such thing as an honest Government and Italy is in for some troubled times ahead and that is a problem, the Italians will have to pay for Europes mistakes.
Its always the people who pay for their mistakes, if we made them it would mean a jail term.

The actions of large banks are totally criminal in my opinion. They take on huge amounts of risk for profit and when things go wrong, as they did in 2008, they expect the gov't (that is us taxpayers) to bail them out. And to make things even worse, my gov't had to borrow, and/or print more money to cover it, thereby weakening the US dollar and causing inflation to soar. So in reality, it was a double whammy for us little guys.
