The Rise of Weaselware

I recently ran across this article in PC World concerning Microsoft and Windows 8 apps purchased from their store. I hadn't encountered the term "weaselware" before, but I find it deliciously funny.

Analysis: Microsoft move to extend the kill-switch, vendor-meddling, customer-paternalization policies of mobile devices to desktop software is a win for weaselware.
