My granddaughter Haley just celebrated her post transplant anniversary.
I don't know if anybody remembers or not, but it's been 2 years since Haley had a double lung transplant and I'm happy to report she's doing good.
Haley was 21 months old when she got her new lungs and she'll be 4 years old in April. We thank God everyday for the second chance He has given Haley and I would like to ask anyone that is not already an organ donor to please consider it. Believe me, it does make a huge difference in people's lives, Haley is living proof.

Congratulations to young Haley! That is indeed wonderful news LittleM. I have a 7 year old great nephew who was born with a hole in his heart, but the surgeon was able to successfully put in a patch and the tissue grew in around it, so he didn't need a transplant.
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain!

That's great to hear LittleM.
Heard about donating organs before but did not really think it through.
Probably I shall discuss this with my wife when I am done check the forum.

My best friend in the world had a combination Liver/Kidney transplant last night, so your post really hit home for me. She survived the OP, and I am hoping she can pull through. A Guy
