Big Grin Bunch of free software

    Hi all.
If some of you are colledge students, then you can get a bunch of free Microsoft software at www.dreamspark.com
The only thing you need is an ISIC card. If you have it then you can verify as a student and download all of the software offered there.
    Here is a list:
    • Visual Studio 2008 Professional
    • Visual Studio 2005 Professional
    • Windows Server 2003
    • Windows Server 2008
    • Expression Studio 2
    • SQL Server 2008 Developer
    • XNA Game Studio 3.0
    • Robotics Developer Studio 2008 Academic Edt
    • CCR and DSS Toolkit 2008 Academic Edt
    • IT Academy Student Pass

    Also, Adobe is giving
    • Flex Builder 3 Professional
    • ColdFusion 8
    at https://freeriatools.adobe.com/
You need to send them (over email) a picture of your student ID or something else. You can contact them and they will tell you what you need to verify as a student with Adobe.

Hope this will be usefull to someone.

    Cheers!

ISIC = International Student Identity Card
    You can Google them out.

Also, you can contact them (Dreamspark Team) and they will give you more info on everything you need for verification on their web site.

Not available to Canada, and not to the NSCC. GRRRRRR I was so hoping to get Expression Studio 2 or Visual Web Developer 2008 Express Edition.

hellnoire, I'm not sure why it wouldn't be available to Canada. Did you read it somewhere on Dreamspark web site?
Here is a quote from their FAQ:
Are only students from major school or cities able to access the Microsoft software available on the DreamSpark site?
No way! The whole point of the Internet is to bring everyone around the world together, right? So it doesn’t matter what size your School is or where it is. We only ask that it’s an accredited school and that your student status be verified. DreamSpark is available to all accredited schools across the globe.

    I've searched for NSCC...

ISIC doesn't sell in Canada, and I tried signing up for a new ID for NSCC but it didn't work.
