Just started as IT Manager for a community based charity group that are looking to update their peer to peer network to a server client configuration. I have donated a server that i had picked up from a previous job, but do not have any Server licence, if you feel that this is a worthy cause i would appreciate a hand here with the server software, of course i would like to get my hands on the latest version, 2008, but would be content to use 2003. Thanks.

Woohooo cant wait to backup everything then update to Server 2008. backups are pain in the butt ! Time to move on from server 2000.

BTW is it a key for 32-Bit or 64-Bit server?

I would like a key for the 2003 edition because I need something quick and easy to run on an older computer, and is very easy to set up. Keep in mind that I will not be using this myself. My parents are in their 60s and my dad refuses to learn Linux, so if we have a key for the Server Edition 2003, I might be able to talk him into doing more backups then he does now. (He recently lost all his data and he has no back up system) I have set up a Linux box for him, but believe it or not, he thinks it's the spawn of the devil ever since I threw CrunchBang on it.

2003's requirements are low enough for us to use it on our home server/ basic PC, and since it will not cross the internet, should be perfectly fine even if they don't release patches for it anymore.

    Please and thank you
