    i have been using USB Safely Remove, it is a very good handy program. Going to try out the beta.

    I've been using the latest stable version 4.1.2.777.

    Apparently, 4.1b3 doesn't install over the older one.

    It's necessary to uninstall-install (instead of disable-enable) before evaluation can be started.

    All I can say for now is that USB Safely Remove is such an excellent USB device manager.

    We can, but it makes our lives easier by naming the attached USB hardware.

    Dang ... v4.1.2.777 is, in fact, officially the v4.1b3 file.

    The Help > About USB Safely Remove menu doesn't mention anything about "beta".

    I received this 4.1.2.777 version by way of Help > Check for Updates in my licensed install.

    Anyway, I haven't had any problem and will probably go ahead with the evaluation ...
