Free Wash And Go Software
http://www.computeractive.co.uk/wash/index
“The ideal "scrubbing brush" for your PC's hard drive”
The latest version of WashAndGo, the PC "scrubbing brush" software, enables users to simply and easily clean their PC hard disk, freeing disk space and speeding access to important data.
WashAndGo removes garbage files that fill up the hard disk and do nothing except slow down the PC. Garbage files that can be removed by WashAndGo include temporary files not removed when programmes are closed, old file safety copies which are created automatically by some programmes, 0 byte files with no real content, wrong and confusing Windows Registry entries, duplicate DLL libraries, superfluous and outdated service pack files, wrong Uninstall entries and Internet Explorer, Opera and Firefox browser caches. Together, these unnecessary files can cause a computer to run slower than usual, and take up disk space.
WashAndGo tells its users how much disk space has been freed, so the benefits of running the programme can be seen immediately. A single mouse click starts WashAndGo examining the hard disk. Users then review a list of detected garbage files and authorise WashAndGo to remove them. Users who prefer to be on the safe side can switch on the security option of WashAndGo to enable the recovery, if required, of all removed files for up to 14 days after the clean up.
This program is fast, secure, and reliable- Let WashAndGo reclaim your wasted disk space!
This is an offer with the Computeractive Magazine.
Pm on this thread and let me know what you think.

Well I had purchased versions 2007 and 2008 since I used to like the animation sequence. I believe Tune up utilitied 2007 and 2008 were better but have to check the new version 2009. Thanks for the link:
Edir: I checked it now and the version is still 2008 and not 2009 as they claimed in the offer

This was also offered by Winload of Germany, whereby a Lizenzschlüssel was given away to install and activate WashAndGo 2008 >> http://forum.raymond.cc/freebies/11997-washandgo-2008-a.html
Will the same license code make this one (from ComputerActive) work?
This is what Computer Active in issue numbered 296 has to say:
"You will need a serial code to use Wash And Go 2008. When you install the program you will be prompted to get one -- follow the instructions displayed to do so. The serial code will be emailed to you. If it doesn't arrive within an hour, check your junk mail or spam folder."

You're right, between the 2 covers, the unlock keys are interchangeable.
And now to test how it works ...
