Never use Kaspersky Again!
They tested KIS2010 against a set of malware with 3,194 samples from the 05/2009 WildList and all common malicious samples from previous WildLists. This checks the most important malware families including old variants still found in the wild. KIS2010 actually missed 4 samples detected by KIS2009: "Email-Worm.Win32.Kipis.u", "Net-Worm.Win32.Mytob.bi" (2 variants) and "Backdoor.Win32.Rbot.bng". The detections, or failures to detect, were inconsistent; sometimes they would be found, sometimes they would be declared clean, especially by on-access protection (Virus Guard). Attempts to execute these samples were not stopped by Kaspersky's protections at that layer either.

Each year Kasper is lower and worst. I used kaspersky during 3 years buying the license and this year i´ve changed to Panda. For the moments run perfect.

Already fixed.
Kaspersky Lab responds to an issue related to the unpacking procedure in the new version of the company's product
German antivirus-testing company AV-Test recently reviewed the new 2010 version of the product and reported that during the test-run, it could not recognize several old malware samples from the AV-Test.org collection. At the same time, the 2009 version was still able to correctly identify them.
Kaspersky Lab experts immediately analyzed the problem and concluded that it was caused by a malfunction in the unpacking module of the product, which prevented the 2010 version from correctly unpacking and identifying those samples.
We fixed detection of malware samples right away, and corrected the unpacking module soon after that. Corrections fixing the detection problem were released to all customers as part of regular updates, ensuring all running installations of Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 now have maximum level of protection.
Kaspersky Lab would like to thank AV-Test specialists for providing the information which helped identify and solve the problem very quickly. The company is continually improving its procedures for testing products and releasing updates in order to prevent such errors from occurring in the future.
