As i have already posted a while ago, system backup 2010 is free for a couple of weeks, so go and register for a copy and download while the offer is still going. This is not a time limited RC download, this is free forever.

if you click on the above link and register, then you receive a password with your serial number, so that you can sign into your account. once you have done this you can download your software directly from paragon, making sure that you're using clean unmodified software. not that i dont trust giveawayoftheday, but any exe files that try to alter the registry in suspicious ways are best left alone. i always download these files from giveawayoftheday, and, if possible i try to get the serial and download the installation file from the company that writes the software.

i have also noticed that almost all of the free paragon software that i've registered over the past few years is stored in my online account. this means that i can get the list of serial numbers and redownload any of the software when i like. this is very handy, especially when you loose or damage your copy or if you are at a friends house and they want a copy, you can just sign in and download it for them. obviously, they can register their own legal copy from the install file that you download, by clicking get a free serial, so you aren't sharing your key.

well actually you are right it gives the serial in minutes and that too gaotd serial so you are free to d/l paragon drive backup v9 from the paragon site...it saves quite a hassle for gaotd installer will seek serial during installation so this is a good workaround

The link given by sacrificial1 will lead you to a registration page for the Pro version of the software. The same Pro version.

Further observations:

By registering with sacrificial1's link, using the same email address I used for GAOTD, Paragon sent me the same product key and serial number they assigned me for the previous GAOTD offering of Drive Backup 9.0 Pro.

Then I registered under other email accounts, and I got different sets of product keys and serial numbers. Interesting ...

Now I feel like I want to sign up for today's GAOTD.

Btw. the GOTD installer (for this and most other offers) does not search for any serial nor register the installation by itself, it only deflates the compressed package with a decryption routine obtained from GOTD (as long the offer is guilty) to your Windows temporary directory. Rename it to *.EXE and you´ll have the installer forever.
