chance to win 10 prevx license with 3 year subscription

well.......if you are creative with words....try your luck....here..http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=252663

    from wilders:
    Hello all,
We've released the RC of the new Prevx 3.0 web browser protection system... but are having some trouble finding a good name! The name we're currently considering is:

    Prevx BrowseSure

To give you some guidance if you haven't tried it out too extensively yet, the Prevx secured browsing environment prevents keyloggers, screengrabbers, clipboard stealers, form grabbers, and a host of other maladies from stealing your data or entered credentials even if the antimalware components of Prevx don't see an active infection.

We're offering a 10 PC license for 3 years to whomever comes up with the name we decide on (based on whomever posts it first, and we prefer having no more than three suggestions per post just to reduce the possibility of someone else posting your name while you're writing it!).

Feel free to go wild We aren't opposed to abstract names but it would be great if we could convey the protection provided to the browser and to the user's credentials in something simple. The chosen name will replace "Web Browser Security" on the front screen of the .183+ interface as well as the titles which show on some dialogs that read "Secure Browser".

    Thank you for your help!

I've been considering this software for quite a while.Would anyone who runs it here share your thoughts on this software The reason I'm asking this is I got setup for online banking on Friday and is this a good program to run with Avira?

Yes, of course, you can run PREVX 3.0 with Avira or any other antivirus, it doesn't conflict with the most of antimalware/antispyware (like MalwareBytes' AntiMalware full for instance). more: PREVX 3.0 is very light in memory usage.
The trial version offers a limited removal ability for some kinds of malware, like MBR rootkit.
In the nut shell: It's an advanced Cloud based antimalware.
If you use a third party personal firewall be sure PREVX has full access to the net.

I haven't still tried this new version as it is in non public beta stage but it looks promising.

In Italy we have a malware researcher who works for PREVX, from time to time I visit his own blog and I ask in case of doubt

    http://www.prevx.com/blog/119/From-Gromozon-to-Mebroot--A-Reflection-on-Rootkits-Today.html

And here is Marco PREVX researcher Blog (In Italian)

[EDIT to say] I've just downloaded PREVX 3.0.4 Release Candidate

    http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=252662

    Current known issues/incompatibilities are:
    - Incompatibility with Opera v10
    - Incompatibility with Sandboxie
    - Some issues with cookie cleaners
    - Incomplete Safari support
    - An intermittent issue loading PDF files in Adobe Reader on Windows 7
    - Incompatibility with KeyScrambler because of similar technology being used
    - Tab positioning issues on some Firefox installations
    - Some logical issues adding protection/removing protection
    - Partial incompatibility with KeePass/KeeForm
    - Browser protection will be merged with the Stop Protection in Prevx to allow the user to take screenshots if wanted
    - Incompatibility with BS Player PRO
    - Conceptual incompatibility with screen readers

I'm going to install and test it

I haven't tried Prevx so i can't help you there but I have On Line Armor Professional and it does have a "Banking Mode" option check it out at:

    http://www.tallemu.com/online-armor-personal-firewall-software.html

At least you have another option now.
