You are probably right (or so I hope), it may well be the automatic update function. Still, I don't understand why they don't signal that in the icon tray (as other programs do).

Well for security program like Iobit 360 the best way to test there product ( security audit and certification ) is via submitting their product to security experts and Independents Test review sites.
