The activation codes you'll get should work with every Panda Internet Security 2010 setup file, no matter what OS (XP/Vista/Seven) you are using.

More: Panda has not a shelf life.
I know 'cause I activated some days ago one full Panda Internet Security 2010 by using a serial number I got almost one year ago thanks to a promo which Raymond wrote about:

I signed up, but did not download the trial since I have a couple months left on my anti virus, Will I still receive a key even though I did not download the trial version?

I just recieved my license code a few minutes ago with the following info. Guess they are now sending them out.

Thank you for participating in Panda Security's magic 24-hour Windows 7 launch party! We are happy to welcome you to the Panda Security family and hope you enjoy your free-er-est year of Internet Security 2010!

If you have already downloaded the trial version offered at registration:
Step 1. If you have downloaded and installed your trial version, you will be prompted to activate near the end of your current trial period. All you have to do is click the activate button and follow the instructions.
Use your unique Windows 7 party activation code :xxxxxx-xxxxxxxx

If you have not downloaded the trial version offered at registration:
Step 1. Register your account at – http://www.pandasecurity.com/homeusers/support/register/ by using your unique Windows 7 activation code: xxxxxx-xxxxxxxx

Step 2. Go to http://www.pandasecurity.com/homeusers/downloads/tree/?sitepanda=particulares sign-in using your new user name/password (provided by Step 1.) and download your Windows 7 compatible anti-virus.

Step 3. Install your new free anti-virus.

Now just sit back and enjoy maximum protection with minimum impact. Thank you again for being part of our launch party.

    Sincerely,
    Panda Security

Found my email from Panda in the Spam folder!

BUT the registration process is actually an activation process!

Of course, on the page itself, it does say Service Activation.

But then the email was from Panda's marketing department.

    Like I should be surprised.

At the end I was told that my product was activated and would expire in 1 year.

So... if you install the trial version -- not sure if the standard trial download on the site is any different from the one you could download the other day -- you'll get 13 months instead of 12.

At the end I was asked if I wanted to participate in a survey and given a choice of OK or Cancel. Choose Cancel and was taken to a main page.

Now am waiting to get an email with my login & password.

Awful lot of jumping through hoops with Panda.
