Just received the PIS 2010 activation code from Panda.

I got my code as well. Anyone know if the code will work for just the av or do you have to install the whole security suite?

Found my email from Panda in the Spam folder!

BUT the registration process is actually an activation process!

Of course, on the page itself, it does say Service Activation.

But then the email was from Panda's marketing department.

Like I should be surprised.


At the end I was told that my product was activated and would expire in 1 year.

So... if you install the trial version -- not sure if the standard trial download on the site is any different from the one you could download the other day -- you'll get 13 months instead of 12.

At the end I was asked if I wanted to participate in a survey and given a choice of OK or Cancel. Choose Cancel and was taken to a main page.

Now am waiting to get an email with my login & password.

Awful lot of jumping through hoops with Panda.

No, you don't need to wait for the new login & password. You can use your unique Windows 7 party activation code.

Technically speaking, is it referred to as PIS or PISS? Panda Internet Security or Panda Internet Security Suite? PIS or PISS? So far I have just called it PISS but not sure that is accurate. Maybe it's just PIS.
