Known Issues
• Dragging a single image onto the Lightroom icon from a folder imports all compatible image files in the
folder
• When Lightroom is currently running, the new import dialog will fail to launch when a compact flash or
secure digital media card is mounted on a system
• Exporting a slideshow to JPEG files on Windows may embed the wrong color profile
• iDVD is unable to burn or encode videos created by the Slideshow module video export
• Flickr Photosets with “illegal” characters(? / \ | = + etc) will fail to publish
• Export as catalog to the same directory as the original catalog can fail
• Only the top image of a closed stack is included in catalog export
• Keywords cannot be imported from another Lightroom catalog file
• After an Impromptu Slideshow Lightroom will lose the correct selection in the filmstrip
• Offline mapped network drives will slow down import on Windows
• Export to CD/DVD requiring multiple disks will fail after Disk1 on Mac
• There can be an interlacing issue with some of the video presets final output on Windows
• Exported H.264 Slideshow video playback on Windows XP and Windows Vista is not guaranteed to
work properly with the default media players available on those operating systems. Please download
the Adobe Media Player to ensure compatibility: http://www.adobe.com/products/mediaplayer/
• Initial 1:1 loading times in the Library Loupe and Compare view are slower than usual due to the image
quality improvements. An optimized experience has not been implemented in time for this release
• The luminance slider has been disabled for the public beta to focus attention on the new color noise
reduction algorithms
