this is getting some nice reviews over on GAOTD. I installed it myself and it seems pretty nice although I have not had a chance to mess with it much. Not much time left to grab a free license.

Final Verdict
Aimersoft HD Video Converter is an excellent program: thumbs up. For general video converting use, I do find FormatFactory to be the better video converter. However for HD video converting purposes, Aimersoft HD Video Converter beats out even FormatFactory. So, my recommendation is along those same lines. If you feel you will ever need to convert to or from HD videos, grab Aimersoft HD Video Converter. Otherwise, stick to FormatFactory.

Personally, I will just use freeware alternatives (there are lots of them)...I don't like GOTD which uses Activate.exe I prefer those with serial key included in the readme.txt.

Simple. Everytime I visit this thread (note: not the Aimersoft-site) Asquared pops up telling me that www.aimersoft.com has made a connection attempt which has been blocked. The pop-up goes away rather quickly so it will be difficult to screenshot it, but I will see. Other security software programs give no notifications.

Do you have their software installed? Also I wonder if there is some setting in A2 that allows notifications to last longer?
