It does a good job, if you need it. It might be useful for retrieving obscure customized vendor drivers (such a built-in webcam driver), provided the program manages to extract these.

Update: For some reason or another, I don't like the idea of using a commercial app to backup drivers...so here is a link to freeware alternatives...

On Gizmo (above link), you would see that DriverMax is recommended but most users would disagree as the free version is becoming more restricted...I think Double Driver is a better alternative...

i like to use drivermax,i have never had a problem with it and its free....but you only get to d/l 2 drivers a day unless you pay for it
