I confirm this license works for WinRar for U3 Flash Drives download located at http://software.u3.com/Product_Details.aspx?ProductId=92
After you install the U3 Flash Drive version you install the rarreg.key by going to Explore Drive, then System, then Apps the open the folder that has a date last modified of the day you installed the software "todays date" open that folder then open the folder called EXec and put the rarreg.key file in that folder.

I make it a point of uninstalling U3 from my cruzer Ti drives, preferring CodySafe, but I use WinRAR Unplugged which like the regular install version doesn't necessarily have to nag you to register.
Although WinRAR Unplugged 3.9.0.1 is already available, version 3.8.0.1 is supported and can still be downloaded directly from RARLAB:
http://www.win-rar.com/index.php?id=463&dl=wrar_unplugged_3.8.0.1.exe
Glad to learn that these keys can activate WinRAR portables 3.8.0.1 ...
Thank you!
