Sorry but you don't know so your comment is less than helpful.
I just checked around the web and found several review sites criticising the effectiveness of Norman 2010 which just backs up my own experience.

I was tried Norman before using KIS, virus detection very good but the interface is not good

Norman AV & Antispyware v 7.3 is only for Windows 7
Norman AV & Antispyware v 7.1 is for Vista/XP

Juts check if you are running a 32 bit or 64 bit OS and download the proper installer

as I suspected Norman company nullified the OEM code 'cause of excessive requests I suppose.

Keys already recieved are valid of course
