Avira blocked the download of Privacy Master saying that virus or unwanted program found.
Anyway...probably FP (I trust Webroot products most !)

I didn't like the Washer. I looked at the program and clicked Wash, but it wouldn't tell me what it was Washing if anything.

When you first install the WWW, it will auto detect programs that you installed to be washed.
You may go to Wash Setup to set details you want to wash.
When you start "Wash your Computer Now", you will see details washed & "Complete Wash List" shown after.
You will see also the HD spaces & cumulated spaces recovered too ...on the right hand side.
I use this WWW for 3 years & found it's really a good / powerful & reliable privacy eraser/ disk cleaner.

I uninstalled it because I couldn't figure it out. I use System Mechanic with a promotion here I saw for speedupmypc. I still think system mechanic is the best, but if you are looking to buy system mechanic you better get it from walmart and then renew earlier with a $15.00 savings. I am paid up to Oct. 3, 2011 with system mechanic. I will renew before then because it will be a savings of $15.00.

With system mechanic you can install it on 3 pcs.

It's not fair to compare System Mechanic with WWW , it'll be the same that you use Internet Security to compare with the single Antivirus program.
WWW is simply a privacy eraser / disk cleaner.
System Mechanic have full features of utilizing, disk cleaner, registry repaired,system optimizing...
I used the System Mechanic before (2 times with the 6 months promo) ...yes it is a good utilities too.

That is the first time I used it too. Way back when they offered the 6.0 for free. I downloaded trials of system mechanic before then but I never had the money to buy it. For the money I don't think tools like Registry Mechanic are worth it compared to others like Tuneup Utilities or System Mechanic.
