1.Restarted my PC and disabled Self-defense and closed Kaspersky .

Modify C:\Program Files\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Internet Security 2010\Skin\loc "en" Rename"sch"

Then I used regedit to change the language to English and started Kaspersky .

I opened regedit and went through the sub-directories one by one in the following order.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\KasperskyLab\protected\AVP9\Environment

On the right tab there was “Localization”, it said en, I changed it to sch.

Download KIS2010(736) with Chinese version

Restarted my PC and disabled Self-defense and closed Kaspersky .

Then I used regedit to change the language to English and started Kaspersky .

I opened regedit and went through the sub-directories one by one in the following order.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\KasperskyLab\protected\AVP9\Environment

On the right tab there was “SkinSwitchDisabled”, I changed it to “0”.

Restarted KIS. "shift+F12" It was in english now.

I re-enabled self defense and updated the database

Yes... 2011 can not be modified , works with 2010

i don't need it but would it work if you overwrite it with 2011 version because kaspersky disables previous versions when it installs and keeps the amount of days on the key for new version i did this for my sister but that was with english versions only it could be worth a try with activated chinese 2010 version then overwrite with english 2011 version

Guys Chinese KIS key always give you trouble to activate in English
So better to be not use Chinese key and use KIS CBE Suit

If you overwrite it with simplify chinese version KIS 2011...may be but probably only with little chance to succeed.
If you can read Chinese, the license condition stated that the License could only be used in computers which never install KIS before. (so for newly installed KIS only)

The simplify chinese version KIS had already the English options built in, so if you can get KIS 2011 sch version (not available yet),you may try to install & follow steps on post #4 above to change to English version.
