Considering the bugs they have in the current version I may not use it now but I will keep the key in reserve since Bitdefender keys do not have shelf life.

    because I have tested it.
I always test every security software before installing into a productive environment
    1) Very slow surfing experience
    2) very slow system boot time
    3) real time protection not properly working
    4) very slow scanning
    5) I had to reboot two times either during setup either after updating it the first time

    and many more

Probably, therefore many AV-vendors use BD-engine in own AV-products...
    OK,leofelix,this is your opinion.

...Maybe, problems if you have 64 bit OS...

Are you referring to v2011? I am using it currently, and do not face any of your problems. For me:
    1) Surfing is fast with Chrome, FF boots up slow but works normal
    2) Sometimes the system boots up 20-25 sec slower, sometimes it's normal
    3) Haven't been affected by virus yet, but it has disinfected a few while surfing
    4) 250 GB HDD takes around 2 hours scan time
    5) Had to reboot once
