Spy Emergency was formerly on Spyware Warrior's Rogue list.It's been de-listed for some time so I guess it's up to the users whether to take a chance or not.

Note on Spy Emergency 2005: Spy Emergency was listed on this page because of concerns with false positives and the nature of its detections. In late March 2005, a new version of Spy Emergency was released. Testing with this new version indicates that the problems with earlier versions have been satisfactorily resolved. Thus, we can no longer consider Spy Emergency to be "rogue/suspect" anti-spyware.

That was in 2005, for false positives...well, now is summer 2011, many things have changed. Still, thanks for info.

it is very buggy for the sake of argument and it is really heavy. I have no idea why do they implement Antispam in a simple Antispyware tool. Anyway i tried it and could not start properly so uninstalled it again. Good luck whoever will have the luck to use this tool.

You're not alone .... I mean .... others also had problems :

I could not test Spy Emergency v9. The reason is, for some unknown reason it installed on my Windows 7 Enterprise x64 but whenever I tried to run it, it gave me error and it did not run at all. They have mentioned it on their website that it works on Windows 7 x64 but it did not. I tried to run it in Windows XP SP3 compatibility mode but still no success. If you could run it, let me know.

Like i say earlier i have use Spy Emergency pretty long time ago and dont know where this program goes these days. But i remember something like that too. It was pretty heavy and i never let it run at background.
