Thumbs up Free Lifetime Usenet Access With 1Mbit Speed Limit.

Rarely you will find any Usenet server provider offering free, lifetime account with speed capped to 1Mbit (more then enough for most light users)

Go to http://www.xsusenet.com and register for a free account.[Subscribe now]

Select
Country : United Kingdom (For language: English).
Subscription: Free.
You will receive an email with login information, use that to access your free account.

Use any client or for windows Grabit: http://download.shemes.com/GrabIt172b6.exe

BitTorrent users should know that pretty much all the stuff that you find on your go-to Web site is on Usenet several hours beforehand.

Usenet for beginers:

Thanaks for the share Christy.

Allow me to share my experience. Perhaps you could shed some light on it.

I suspect you need to be located in Europe to use this account. I read about this promo last month and got an account. But when it tested the account, the newsreader came back with error about my node being closed by server.

I noticed in the signup all the countries in the pull-down list are European

Ok, let's see.
I got a free licence to use Usenet.
I installed Grabit.
I searched an alt. b. group and downloaded a file. This turns out to be a txt file.
Now the only question I have left is - What do I do now?
In other words ... No, that's says it pretty plain.

I did forget to mention that I wanted to try this and thanks to Christy I am able to try. Even if I'm stuck. Thank you, Christy

I think I have it working - just not sure
