I understand the question & I do this all the time, I just ctrl+A to select all,then I right click the 1st file & name it,I'll use your example here: BUDGET(1), hit enter & wallah,
they will all be subsequent w/no space,but..
That said,now,the real reason I came to this forum actually is to find out how to get the parenthesis to go away all together,
since I'm loading pix to a coppermine gallery I want to know how to rename a slew of files simultaneously that will all be lowercase & w/o the parentheses' to maintain a compatible file integrity w/the most current version of coppermine & most servers for that matter, which typically don't allow CAPS or parentheses'...anyone have advice on that,please? & hope my advice helps you out too
