It's telling me to install the service pack, but I can't do that yet, since I don't have it in my updates. Also, last time this happened, SP1 actually made my crashing worse.

i am not much help in Vista. but last time i got that message i had an IRQ conflict. go into sys info>hardware>IRQ conflicts i think. But you probably knwo this and check for IRQ conflicts. As for vista i do not know if you can reassign an IRQ in older versions of Windows you can. but judging by the error message error:IRQ not less or equal looks like an IRQ conflict. i may be way off base but that is what was wrong with a Win 98 machine of mine it was easily resolved, but then we are talking about vista here. All drivers may be up to date but what about a corrupted driver or an update having compatability issues. i use " Driver Genius" to scan my drivers for me.

I wiped and reloaded, then threw on the top of the line drivers. It's no longer blue screening.

I think you should not have removed the text from your post hellnoire. It is because maybe a newbie would follow this thread if he had similar problem. Now, it's all empty. What do you say?

Control - Z if it was still open when you commented that. Also, I solved it with a wipe/ reload so...

Again, if I actually had a solution other then 'don't install it, because you'll wipe and reload your computer', that would be viable. But seeing as it wasn't... that's me.
