    I'd think a bit overkill, but it would work. HIPS needs to be disabled on Comodo (which should be done anyway as it's annoying).

    Well for your info, ST HIPS is annoying too. It pops up when you run any program. But after that no more. so if the program have 60 files, it will pop up for all 60 files! That was last year. Don't know about this year.

    Why overkill?

    Why can't you just change the number of processors at boot if you have a multi-core processor? Originally it's 1.

    If you mean to speed up booting vista, then that was a hoax. Lifehacker & other sites posted about that but later it was realized that it doesn't improve performance.

    And it is only for, to decrease the booting time. doesn't affect much. when i tried, only some 5-6 secs. difference. That doesn't matter much.

    Gizmodo posted about it too and when I applied it on my laptop, I did not get much difference, after the story that it was a hoax; i put it back to default
