Quick Launch Toolbar default buttons
Hello Raymond,
all my quick launch buttons/icons disappeared. I think that maybe the culprit is Quicksys Regcleaner 2009, a GAOTD soft. But as it was installed on feb 27 and the icons disappeared only today, I'm in doubt ( I think this is the problem because I have installed this soft at home and at my laptop and in both the quick launch toolbar disappeared, so adding two and two I got 5!!). Anyway, this is not such a big problem, because I have the quick launch toolbar active again, with the exception of the 2 default buttons which I could not find a way to re-instate : the Show Desktop button and the Switch between windows button to switch between open windows using Windows Flip 3D.
Is there a way to bring these buttons back? I'm running Vista Home Premium. At home I have XP Home, but there I'm not sure of what is missing, because I did not reinstated the quick launch yet, and don't even remember of what's in there by default.
thanks in advance

The default "Show Desktop" and "Switch Between Windows" shortcuts are stored in "C:\Users\Default\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch".
You can just copy the shortcuts in that default quick launch to your quick launch "C:\Users\[YourUserName]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch".

not sure we can thank you after a successful answer, so not to use storage space, but, thank you anyway!! Worked perfectly!
