Vista saves restore point for 136 yers
Is this true read thsi article [CODEhttp://www.daniweb.com/forums/thread82418.html[/CODE]
If this is true why if i need to restor can i only get 5 06 6 restore points listed lol surely this article is in error. That means my great grandkids can restore back to when i was alive

Haha. they won't even be running Vista at that time, much less computers..

lol hell Win 07 is already getting softs that are compatable and i cannot find a darn thins compatapbw with vista

I can name a few things compatible with Vista.
Mostly viruses, but still...

There are options to set how many restore points Vista will save. It sets a restore point before most updates (which tells me M$ doesn't know if their updates will kill your OS, or not!).
If you save many old restore points, plan on upgrading to a bigger HD. Before you do a major update, check your "bytes free" figure, and then recheck it after the update is installed. Shock!!
