Backing up drivers and see which drive is installed

Since reformatting is so much of a hassle, I would like to know is there any program which can backup my drivers just in case I need to reformat so that it will be much easier. Especially my sound drive. I don't care about other drivers. the last time I reformat myself, I don't know what sound drive my computer has.

The second thing I want to ask is how to see what driver is installed on your computer so that you can manually download them and burn them into a CD or keep in the pendrive as a backup before you reformat.
Thoughts are like a never ending ocean where it is deep, endless and dangerous

You can use programs like DriverMax or Driver Magician to backup and store the drivers. They also give option of saving only non-microsoft drivers to save space.

And to find out about the drivers, go to the device properties and see all the drivers installed for each component of your pc.
