So I've just finished setting up Samba to work perfectly with my laptop and any other Windows computer in my house, very easy stuff that I'll be going back and recovering in detail down in the tutorial's forum.
However, only Windows Vista has an issue, complaining that when I try to click a file to open or to save down to the Linux box, it says, and I quote:
To which, of course, I hit yes. But is there any possible way to kill this thing off? I'm streaming music from my Linux box to the laptop, so I know there are no viruses. It also has complete read permissions (I turned off write but even with write on, it still prompts) under Linux.Code:Running a system command on this item might be unsafe. Do you wish to continue?
So it's something on Vista's side.
Thanks for the help.
