    It's quite simple
Change Time format to HH:mm:ss for a 24-hour clock.
Change Time format to hh:mm:ss tt for a 12-hour clock.

    Maybe help you!

You should try out this cool clock customizer:

    http://www.drive-software.com/windowsclock.html

This is the free version, and it works great.

It also has options for 12-24 hour format.

You already have a Windows clock. It allows you to create several others. No need to add third party softwares for something as simple as a clock. The Windows clock is going to run continuosly regardless of how many other clocks you install. Adding extra clocks will just add to the processes running count & slow down your computer even more.
