    Windows 7 (6 diferent versions)

One thing i was hoping they would not do with Windows 7, but the hell with what customers want right. http://www.pcworld.com/article/158861/windows_7_to_ship_in_six_different_versions.html

I am dissapointed to see that again, there will be 6 versions of Windows 7.

I would rather prefer to have 3 versions (7 Home, 7 Business, & 7 Ultimate). Keep it simple MS.

Same here Karsh, or better yet, throw it back to XP, and do two version. Home and Pro. I hear that the cheapest one though, will be going to be around a good $200 CND

It's official, I'm either torrenting 7 when it comes out or going to Linux entirely. Same with my parents. They charge too much for too little.

Jesus and VISTA SP2 isstill beta. Its all a money thing they make more moeny for all us vista users to run to ge 07 instead of them CORRECTING vista like they should
i really dislike Bill and i hope Steve ges better i may go back yo MAC.
i postted here about a cryptload issue .That is how i found this place. Now since i have had vista i CAnnot keep up with my own posts

Why 6 why not 3 or just 1 ith the proper addons you can get exactly what you want. Why not have 1 version and charge a few bucks to add on features you wwant ?

just like DTV why not allow the customer to pick the channels they want.

What are the versions and what are the differences got a link

Bill gates is no longer the owner of MS. He retired already.

I think 4 is just nice.

Windows 7 Home Premium, Windows 7 Professional, Windows 7 Business and Windows 7 Ultimate. (this are my names for it)
    Home Premium is for home.
Professional is for home and small office
    Business is well for business
    Ultimate is the whole thing.

My Windows XP is "Genuine" although it doesn't have any Genuine stickers indicating is Genuine by the Malayisan gov. Tried on-ing my update and it detect as Genuine. Didn't even use any crack. But the shop which reformat my computer gave me a pirated one. I had to change it to Genuine myself. I bought mine Windows XP for RM5. Normal price is RM500+. And is Genuine too.

I am so going torrent Windows 7 when is stable.

Bill Gates is the Founder/Owner/Chairman of Microsoft.

He had only retired from day to day services at Microsoft.

Yeah I knew that. Ontopic, does the number of editions of Windows 7 even matter? Home Premium should suffice for the average user.

Haha, I would go for nothing less that the Ultimate version and so will most of the other Internet users.
