    Email list

I am wondering, everytime I send an email to more than one contact, it show al of their email adresses and names. Is it possible to hide the names and email adresses so nobody can see to who else I have sent it to? Thanx

There are 3 types of boxes for entering recipient email address:

    1 - "To"
    2 - "CC"
    3 - "BCC"

The "To" are the address of the main recipients who you are sending the email to. usually the people you expect to respond to your email. In the case of a mailing list, put your email address on this one.

The "CC" (carbon copy) is where you put the recipients who may need to view the correspondence between you and the "To" recipients.

"BCC" (blind carbon copy) is where you put the recipients which you do not want the "To" and the "CC" recipients to know about.

In hotmail (now Windows Live), the CC and BCC are hidden by default... Click the link "Show CC & BCC" to display these text boxes.
