I'm active in orkut. And yeah cannot join too many social network sites. I've got account on facebook and myspace but I never login. orkut is very popular in Brazil and India.

Orkut is the most visited website in Brazil. A large percentage of users in India are high school and college students.The initial target market for Orkut was the United States, but the majority of its users are in Brazil and India.. In fact, as of May 2008, 53.86% of Orkut's users are from Brazil, followed by India with 16.97%. In regards to traffic, 23.4% comes from Brazil, followed by India with 18.0%. In 2008, more than 23 million of Brazilians had an account on orkut.

Haven't tried Orcut yet, but Brazil is a very happening place. The life styles, attitude etalia are much more modern than most of the rest of South America. It's a free living society, but the old traditional Portugese values still remain. (Some of the hottest chicks too!) Don't know if they'd let a dirty-old-man like myself on there...lol

Orkut is extremely popular here in India. Almost ALL the people with Internet have their Orkut accounts. India and Brazil together make up Orkut's ~80% userbase.

well,orkut isn't popular in countries like USA,UK ,but its most popular in India and Brazil (most no of members).

Well,I'm there on orkut as well ,but I prefer Facebook over orkut .

I use facebook and its better than all social networks I have tried, if I used orkut, I would have no friends because no one here uses it
