Laptop Hangs while running songs

Hi All,

I am having a strange problem. My laptop (Dell Vostro 1400) hangs when i run music using media player, winamp or any other player with some other application. Laptop runs fine for 10-15mins but then suddenly hangs. Says i am running Firefox, winamp and explorer, everything runs fine for 10-15mins then suddenly the system hangs and i have to forcefully shutdown the machine by using the power button. Not sure wht the issue is. I have formatted the machine but the same issue still happens.

How much RAM do you have?

I think what it may be that you haven't picked just one progam to auto play your music on ,line windows media.It could be that the music files where recorded it an unknown format,if this is the case get a audio converter and conver to mp3.I use nch switch audio
converter.it also plays.at www.nch.com.au/switch

Can you run WhoCrashed and copy and paste what it gives you? By my looks on Google, your hardware is failing, but WhoCrashed will cement it and tell us exactly what's wrong.
