    Confused New Second hand Hp.

    HI Guys, And Girls.
I have recently purchase a Second hand Hp d530c. The previous owner had a user password on it.

Unfortunatly the person is now deceased and i can't log on.

I have also tried to format hd with my xp disk. The computer will not pick it up and won't boot from it.

I have tried to bypass the user password so i can delete it and do a system restore.

    Please help, any will do.

    Cheers g.hopper1

User password? You mean BIOS password or Windows startup password. Try using Kon-Boot for the latter.
