Need a group mail id

Today my college lecturer asked me to create a mailing group so that if he sends the class notes to the group email id, it will be sent to the entire class members.
A problem is my classmates are using id's from different companies like yahoo, gmail,rediff etc.how can i create a mailing group containing the mail id's from different vendors?If there is any way please suggest me...

Just download a mailing list program, there's more then enough of them out there.

Go to Google Groups> Create a group> Invite your friends and ask them to join this group.

Then give email-id of your group to lecturer. When he sends a mail to your group, all members in group will receive that message.
