About Online Armor problem

i tried armor online and after installing it and reboot my pc, my pc hangs and i can't click any icons either the start. i can only run the task manager. i waited for an hour and hoping it that it will turn to normal but still my pc hangs.. so i get into safe mode and remove it from startup program and uninstall it.

Perhaps it conflicts with some software that was installed on your computer.
Mind telling us what software (especially security software) do you have on your computer?

well while trying out the free version, it asked me so many questions so uninstalled it but never tried the full paid version

I miss hving OA with windows 7 can't wait untill they bring out a win 7 release, i don't trust the windows firewall when it comes to allowing stuff i want through it have to keep manually adding stuff to the allowed list

Online Armor - is a firewall/hips security application
Avast - Antivirus application

Online Armor Firewall has 3 version = Online Armor ++ ( comparable to a security suite ),Online Armor Premium and Online Armor Free ( basic )

Now the question is which version did you installed? You can check the comparison chart here .

Security applications are sometimes in conflict with each other, so to protect
you OA will notify you to remove other conflicting program.

u can install online armour premium with any antivirus softwares but not any with security suites with comes up with a firewall installed, there must be only one firewall active or they will conflict with each other...or even if u have a security suite u can turn off the firewall in that...

well redfox you can use any av with OA as vickypark suggested for OA is not a replacement for av/as.I 'd suggest you d/l Ccleaner ..from here....http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/ and run its registry cleaning/optimising tool...then first un-install avast ,try revo uninstaller for it, and then install OA first then avast.
