Java 32 vs 64
i have like 3 different versions of IE on my PC. IE8 x64 IE8 x32 and one that i do not know if its 32 0r 64 its just IE w/o browser extensions.
SO is there any advantages of differences in using IE x86 or Iex64 . i was having a java error popup and when i went to update it . Java told me i neded a different version for each browser lol. Is this true?. it makes sense
I was going to change to IEx64 since i have a x64 PC. After having Geek Squad work on it IE32 was the default browser. But installed Java x64 since iam dual core
So is there any advantage to either Browser and can java distinguish between the browsers and use the proper version of java. Now all my short cuts open in IEx86. And do i need 2 versions of JAVA really
PLEASE DO NOT TELL ME TO USE FIREFOX and the problem is solved lmao.

No, you don't need two Javas installed, and I assume you could redirect it by saving a web page, then setting it up to open in IE 64 bit.
